"Will it peel?"
Paint peels on cabinets when it goes over grease or a slick finish. That's why most of the work is prep. Every surface gets degreased and sanded so the primer can grip. Then a primer made to bond to cabinets goes on before any color.
"Can I use my kitchen while the paint cures?"
Yes, carefully. Cabinet paint is dry to the touch in hours but takes longer to fully harden, so we'll tell you what's safe to use and when. For example, one leading cabinet enamel is dry to the touch in 4 to 6 hours, needs gentle use for at least 5 to 7 days, and can take up to 30 days to fully harden. Cool or humid weather makes each step longer.

Walk-through and written estimate. Henry looks at the cabinets, the finish that's on them now, and any damage. You get the price in writing.
Protect the kitchen. Counters, floors, appliances and walls get covered and taped.
Degrease. Kitchen cabinets carry years of cooking grease. It all comes off first.
Sand and repair. Every surface is scuff-sanded so the primer can grip. Dings and gaps get filled.
Prime. A bonding primer made for cabinets.
Paint. Two finish coats of cabinet-grade enamel.
Cure and clean up. We tell you what's safe to use and when. Then we clean up.
